Electrode brass strips are used to make high-frequency welding dies for a wide variety of applications. However, electrode brass strips are mainly for the making of welding forms in the stationery industry. In the early days of high-frequency welding processes, the tools were made from solid brass engraved on pantographs. Unfortunately, this was a laborious and expensive process. One company decided to use brass strips from the printing processes, and soon electrode brass strips were the standard.
These electrode brass strips rules have a welding face that may be plain or decorative. In addition, there may or may not be a gap between the welding face and the cutting edge. The standard cutting height for electrode brass strips is 23.56mm. Today the various knife heights are marked by lines on the side body of the electrode brass strips.
